Wee Spring Bringer

Wee Stamp Spring Bringer Fairy
Today I am sharing a birthday card I have made for a friend who has a ‘special’ birthday just around the corner, no numbers disclosed..   She is not a crafter but a keen gardener so posting this one will not spoil the surprise for her.
I love the garden too; it has just been too much to be out there in this heat!  That is my excuse anyway for sitting in card making instead.
I have a few to be getting on with … babies on the way so pinks and blues are the order of the day!
Back to Spring Bringer ….
I decided to go pastel and tried using the skin tones for her clothes.  I distressed the outside of the die with cream chalks to soften the edges.  I also used a corner punch to round off the edges
.

  2. Thank you for your comments Amy, I expect this rain will bring out even more snails tomorrow. Daisy found 3 today and stood yapping at them for ages, didn't like them slithering!
