Card Making With The Girlies

Hello again everyone.  I am very late with this post of the last Card Class at The Watering Hole.

We all had a lovely afternoon making Book Marks and Post It Note Wallets - a great Stocking Filler idea for Christmas , or any other occasion.

Many thanks to Sally for these  fab ideas.

Here are the pictures of the end results:

Thank you Sally for mailing these photos - they are super.

Missed you Jacky - we all hope you get well soon.

Cardmaking With The Girlies November 2012

Time again to share the cards made at The Watering Hole.

This week I bought along Marianne Designable Folders for the Girlies to have a play with.

Also my Marianne dies on a Christmas Theme, sleigh, reindeer, village small and large, snowflakes, and sentiments with some samples I have made using these dies.

I was really looking forward to this class hoping that the girlies would come up with other ideas using these dies - as always they came up trumps!  It is always fascinating to see what other ideas come forward.

As always time is an issue, never enough time!  It takes a while to choose colours, papers, and all of that, anyway here are the results.

The Girlies choosing cards, papers, dies etc.

Some discussion going on here ....
 Lots of concentration!
The first set of cards using the Marianne Designable - Ice Crystals Folder:
Mum's in the red and my sample white and silver with the tag.
Rosemary's in blue, Sally's with the baubles.
Sue's in red and silver and Joan's in blue and white.  As always Joan thinks 'out of the box'  what a different idea with the ice crystals folder! Die cutting into an oval - stunning!
The next set, mostly my samples here .
 Rosemary's  first design.
 Rosemary's second design.
Sally's design using vellum on a gold card with a gold snowflake.

Well done to Rosemary - 3 cards finished, very speedy indeedy!!

A lovely afternoon, missed you Jacky, Anitta, Sharon and Julia -  hope to see you all again soon.

Special hugs to Jacky - get well soon.
